David Shapiro is a serial entrepreneur and consultant who constantly tries to connect the dots of his ever increasing international network. In the real estate world, he focuses on both commercial and residential, with emphasis on the former. He specializes in highly targeted matches between properties and their most suitable potential developers / business owners. He currently runs Red Hook Realty (redhook-realty.com), selling and renting properties in South Brooklyn and NYC, specializing in Williamsburg where he resides. In addition to his real estate career, David is co-founder and co-owner of two Williamsburg restaurants, Battery Harris (www.batteryharris.com) and Black Flamingo. David also co-founded The Taim Mobile - Falafel & Smoothie Truck in NYC. He is also a consultant for several new and growing businesses in fields such as restaurants, mobile food, hospitality, and travel & technology. He has consulted tech start-ups like www.Festicket.com and even recently developed a new mobile food concept, which hit the streets of Moscow, Russia in Spring 2012. In an earlier life, he worked on Wall Street in Sales and Trading of Structured Products. David was born and raised in Neponsit, and currently spends his time between there and Williamsburg. |
