I was born and raised in the Chicago Suburbs. After collage, in 1980, my husband and I became "urban refugees" and moved to The Black Hills. After all of these years, The Hills still take my breath away! Centerally located in the middle of the Country, it's what the Rockies used to be. We enjoy pure air and crystal clear streams full of trout, with some of the most beautiful State Forests and Parks in our backyard.
