Scarsdale real estate for sale in Scarsdale
Jane Martin, an associate broker and the new office manager of Real Living Five Corners Properties, Scarsdale, brings 18 years of residential sales experience, tremendous enthusiasm—and a love of Scarsdale, where she was born and raised – to this position.

After starting her real estate career at Halstead, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Jane was recruited by Barbara Corcoran and spent 16 years with The Corcoran Group in Manhattan selling coops and condos, and building her business on referrals and repeat business. She worked across all neighborhoods, in every price range, and went beyond what's typically expected of a real estate broker. In the words of one of Jane’s many satisfied clients, "Jane is sharp, professional, charming, and a veritable savior when it comes to navigating the co-op process. If I started a support group for co-op buyers and sellers, Jane would be our counselor."

In 2009, Jane was invited to join Corcoran’s award winning Deanna Kory Team. It was Corcoran’s #1 Sales Team in 2015, with $220 million in sales—a figure that led The Wall Street Journal to rank the team #7 in the country.

Jane is a graduate of Lehigh University (studying government) and the Macy’s Executive Training program, which led to eight years in fashion retailing, where she learned the importance of customer service and developed people-management skills.

Managing a real estate office in Scarsdale feels like a natural transition to Jane. She grew up in Scarsdale, attended the Heathcote and Quaker Ridge Elementary Schools and Scarsdale Middle School, and graduated from Scarsdale High School. At her tenth Scarsdale High reunion, she encountered former classmate, Matthew Martin, another Village native, and they eventually married.

The two started life together in Manhattan, but after their twin daughters were born they decided their now larger family needed more space to grow so in 2007 they bought a house and moved back to Scarsdale. The Scarsdale school system, close proximity to the city and the atmosphere in the Village were three major reasons Jane and her family returned. The same reasons, she believes, that clients of Real Living Five Corners want to live in Scarsdale.

As a manager, Jane is excited to support and motivate her agents, help them hone their skills, and ensure that clients’ objectives are achieved and exceeded. On top of her real estate savvy, she brings her experience of growing up in Scarsdale, her knowledge of the area, and living and raising a family here for the past nine years—an unbeatable combination. Jane and her husband are active members of the community. Matthew is an attorney, whose practice includes international clients, immigration law, not-for-profit organizations, and religious institutions. And Jane enjoys volunteering at both school and local neighborhood association events, cheering for the twins’ team in cheerleading competitions, and serving as co-leader of their Girl Scout Troop in Scarsdale. Like a good Girl Scout, Jane believes in doing a good turn daily and being prepared.
