Prior to joining Town and Country as managing director of the Westhampton Beach office, Patrick was an associate broker with Allan Schneider Associates and a vice president with the Corcoran Group.
As an Associate Broker with more than 19 years of experience, Patrick is also a certified appraiser for over 18 years. Formerly a senior appraiser at the prestigious Miller Samuel appraisal firm in Manhattan, he was praised by Jonathan Miller, president of the firm, as "a hardworking professional who has a wide array of valuation experience and extensive local market knowledge".
Patrick owns Patrick M. Galway Real Estate Appraisal and Consulting, which specializes in the appraisal of high end Hamptons' real estate. Throughout Patrick's multi-faceted career, he has always specialized in luxury real estate.
In addition, he has extensive experience covering matrimonial, trust and estate matters, federal historic preservation, mortgage origination, relocation, asset valuation, share allocation, foreclosure and bankruptcy.
While growing up in Southampton Town, Patrick worked with contractors and builders. His knowledge of the physical and financial sides of construction led him to manage multiple residential construction sites in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, California.
One of Patrick's inspirations was his great-grandfather, founder of Galway Excavation Company in Manhattan. The firm prepared sites for such notable buildings as the Flatiron Building, the New York Public Library and Bryant Park.
